EV Station

When configuring the EV Viewlet for AX the first thing needed is an EV Station which can be found in the sustainability folder of the alxPeriscope module along with some other sustainability objects that may or may not be available to your particular installation depending on your license:

An EV Station object can be placed anywhere in the web supervisor but it's recommended that they be in the same folder for easy management. Here we'll review some of the options that come along with this object:

  • Brand - currently for AX management only, denotes the brand of this EV station.
  • Location - for use with the maps portion of the EV viewlet for easy station status tracking geographically.  The maps portion is currently unavailable in Periscope.
  • Public Station - currently for AX management only, denotes whether or not this is a publicly accessible station.
  • Cost Per Kwh - for use with viewlet-based calculations.
  • Region Co2 Emissions Rate - for use with viewlet-based calculations.
  • Kwh Delivered Trend - historical trend in AX representing the total energy delivered by this EV station.
  • Kwh Use Delta - optional; for use with the kWh delivered trend when it's accumulating.
  • Kw Trend - historical trend in AX representing the total power delivered by this EV station.
  • Charging Boolean Trend - true/false history representing when the station is actively charging a vehicle or not.
  • Charging Runtime Trend - accumulating number of minutes that this station has been charging a vehicle.
  • Uptime Runtime Trend - accumulating number of minutes that the station has been online.
  • Charge Status Input - enumerator to be linked to the corresponding enumerator denoting the charge status input for this station.

Please ensure that all Trend inputs have non-null history references in order for the viewlet to function appropriately. If these are not correct or otherwise cannot be resolved, the viewlet will alert to the issue as well as the location of the station object that has the corresponding missing trend.
